Prof. Dr. Dominik Eder received his doctorate in physical chemistry from the University of Innsbruck, Austria, in 2003. He then went to the University of Cambridge, UK, in 2005 as an Erwin Schrödinger Research Fellow of the Austrian Science Fund (FWF). In 2006, he received an APART Advanced Research Fellowship from the Austrian Academy of Sciences, which he used to set up his group in Cambridge. In 2011, he accepted a position as Assistant Professor of Physical Chemistry at the University of Münster, Germany.

In 2015, he became a full professor of materials chemistry at the Institute of Materials Chemistry (IMC) at TU Wien. He is currently head of the “Molecular Materials Chemistry” department at the IMC of TU Wien.
