Before submitting the application, the habilitation applicants present their project to the faculty in a presentation (§2 guidelines for habilitation procedures).

Habilitation applications are submitted to the Rectorate via the Dean's Office.

The application must be submitted to the dean's office:

  • Application for habilitation (letter to the Rectorate) - the application must include the subject for which the habilitation is sought and the responsible faculty
  • Curriculum vitae (including a list of publications and a description of previous academic and teaching activities)
  • Habilitation thesis (5 copies, 3 must be hardcover)
  • Additional publications (5 copies, 3 must be hardcover)
  • Declaration of own contribution to the habilitation thesis and the additional publications (if the applicant is not the sole author)
  • Proof of completion of a doctoral degree or equivalent academic qualification
  • Three proposed topics for the trial lecture
