Chemistry is not just what stinks and cracks! In the hands-on laboratory of technical chemistry, children and young people from grades 4 to 12 can discover their chemical environment and find out how many areas of everyday life involve science. The aim is not to remain in the difficult, formal or abstract, but to make everyday things tangible: Detergents, dyes, medicines, fragrances, plastics, fertilizers, cosmetics and much more that enriches our lives. This gives children the opportunity to work independently and experiment at an early age.

TCH's “hands-on laboratory” organizes hands-on workshops for pupils in grades 4 to 12.

YIA is a group of Young Investigators at the level of postdocs and assistant professors. The aim of the group is to improve the situation of young PIs at TU Wien and to create a better environment for research and teaching.
YIA welcomes all young researchers to its team.
