Houska-Preis

The Research Unit Chemical Technologies is proud and pleased to congratulate Assoc. Prof.in Dr. Goltha Khatibi and her team on winning first place in the prestigious Houska Prize 2021 in the category "University Research" for the project "Highly Reliable Power Electronics". This prize is endowed with 150,000 €.

The content of the TUW project is the development of a patented test method for high-performance electronics. The method makes it possible to shorten the time from the idea to market maturity. This is because, in contrast to conventional "post-mortem" analysis methods, Golta Khatibi and her team use sensors and computer simulation programmes to examine the operational stresses of microelectronics "in-situ".
