Data protection

Data protection and its safeguarding are important concerns of the TU Wien. Personal data is processed in strict compliance with the principles and requirements set forth in the GDPR17 and the Austrian Data Protection Act18. The TU Wien processes only those data that are necessary to achieve the intended purposes and always strives to ensure the security and accuracy of the data. Personal data (name, employer, photo) of designated persons, for example speakers and participants in a panel discussion, are published for the purpose of promoting the event.
