Our testing laboratory supports the research area of ​​Industrial Plant Design and Application of Digital Methods through sampling, measurements, and analyses during research projects. A key focus is on measuring product gas, exhaust gas, and flue gas in the pilot plants for gas production from solid fuels in our Technikum and at project partners' research facilities. The testing laboratory is also available for the planning, support, and evaluation of measurement campaigns.

Service for Research Projects

Measurement campaigns are organized in close coordination with the research project managers. The testing laboratory also offers consultation and inquiry prior to research projects regarding the relevant analytics. If standard procedures are not suitable, new methods are developed depending on the specific research question.

The testing laboratory maintains measuring instruments for the entire research area and handles the rental of equipment and analytical accessories. A laboratory space can also be made available for research projects if required, allowing independent measurements to be carried out, even on project-specific measuring instruments. At the same time, the proximity offers the opportunity for constant exchange and rapid support.

Analytical Hub

We always strive to put together a comprehensive, customized analytical package for each researcher. Measurements that cannot be performed in-house can often still be commissioned through the testing laboratory. In addition to our excellent methodological expertise in the field of gas analysis, we have also established a network of partners for further analytical services, through which we can arrange and coordinate additional measurements.
