Welcome to my homepage!

I am Group Leader and FWF Elise Richter Fellow at the Institute of Analysis and Scientific Computing at TU Wien (Research Group Uncertainty Quantification) and currently the PI of the FWF Elise Richter Project V1000. I am also a member of the Vienna Center for PDEs and of the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM), opens an external URL in a new window. My research focuses on developing mathematical and computational methods of uncertainty quantification (UQ) and statistical inverse problems for complex systems in computational science and engineering. To this end, I leverage theory and methods from mathematics and statistics including numerical methods for PDEs, probability and statistics, inverse problems, and optimization.

News!

October 2023: If you are interested to write a Master's or Bachelor's thesis in Uncertainty Quantification, please see my projects for possible topics. I am also happy to discuss other related and possible topics of your interest.
