Mentoring Program

The student council introduces yot to the everyday studentslife. At the so-called ETUTs you learn how to not get lost at the sometimes confusing university jungle. This is usually where the first learning groups come together. The Accessibility Department represents the rights of people with disabilities and chronic illnesses. It is committed to remove physical barriers, eliminate discrimination and thus enabling people with disabilities to study successfully and valuablely at the TU.

It has become clear that there are many questions and a great need for discussion on the topics of ADHD and autism. This is why the Coffee Hour: barrier-free was created. "We want to give our students the opportunity to get information, exchange ideas and get in touch with us, Student Support, as easily as possible," explains Nicole Kretschy, Disability Officer at TU Wien.

The social department of the HTU is your partner for advice when it comes to studying and parenting. There are regular consultation hours, a parents' newsletter, etc. The social department also takes care of the children's fund.

The social department of the HTU is the contact for everything that concerns allowances, scholarships, social security, studying with a disability, studying with a family, cases of hardship, etc. It offers advice on all of these issues and more. The department can also help you out with a tax or housing law advice.

KADA is a non-governmental, non-profit association which strives to ensure that elite athletes have secure and fulfilling prospects for the future – by promoting the feasibility of combining sports with education or vocational training.

Contact the International Office if you wish to study at TU Wien as an exchange student for one or more semesters in the framework of mobility programmes, e.g. Erasmus, Joint Study, or bilateral Agreements.

Coffee Hour: International Students

The Coffee Hour is an opportunity for international students to meet and network at least once a month with each other in a friendly atmosphere (no appointment necessary). It is a cooperation of the Student Support and the International Office . For each date, information on specific topics will be provided, which can also be discussed.

Ombudsperson's Office

Ombudspersonen

The Ombudsperson's Office for Academic Affairs is a service for TU students who have concerns about their everyday life at the university. You can get advice, support and help with communication. We contact the responsible persons and work together with them to find appropriate solutions.

E-Learning Diversity Skills

Respect and fairness are the focus of a three-part e-learning course developed on behalf of the TU Vienna. This awareness-raising offer can be done independently of time and place. 1 ECTS point is credited for completing the e-learning package.
