Sensor and Actuator Technology

We focus on both teaching and research in the areas of modeling, numerical simulation, and optimization of complex mechatronic systems. This includes:

finite element methods for multiphysics problems,
sound design and noise reduction in vibroacoustics and aeroacoustics,
advanced measurement techniques for analyzing sound and vibration, and
material parameter identification for structural mechanics, acoustics, and electromagnetics.
