The staff and student survey took place at TU Wien between January 13th and February 2nd 2025. With this survey, TU Wien fulfilled its legal obligation to protect employees and also gains information about potential areas for improvement. Furthermore, the survey offered all participants the opportunity to provide positive feedback. 

A very important concern was to inform all employees and students about how their data is handled. We wanted to dispel any doubts about anonymity or concerns that criticism expressed via the questionnaire could have negative effects right from the start. In order to ensure the best possible protection of personal data, IBG has been commissioned to carry out the survey. All responses and information will be processed exclusively by IBG and will only be made available to the TU in anonymised and aggregated form. 

In addition, data protection is guaranteed by a presentation limit. The results of the survey are only presented for groups to which at least 10 people have assigned themselves. Smaller groups are therefore not analysed for reasons of anonymity.

Another important point was the scope of the survey. In comparison to previous surveys, blocks of topics were summarised and redundant questions were deleted in order to reduce the processing time to around 10 minutes. 

The results of the survey will be available on this website from April 2025 once the data analysis has been completed by IBG.
