Fix the numbers refers to the pillar of the strategy that relates to achieving a balanced gender ratio and increasing the proportion of women and underrepresented groups in science and technology.

We also understand this to include issues such as the gender pay gap, the gender care gap and the associated differences in how women and men spend their time, which must be balanced in order to achieve equality.

It is important to us that we do not take a fix-the-women approach, as we do not want to optimize women* in order to adapt to unjust conditions, but rather to achieve structural changes in the conditions for women.
