Deadlines

Nominations 

The deadline for the submission of nominations (Federal Representation and University Representation) begins on 25/03/2025, and ends on 08/04/2025. The submitted nominations will be reviewed by the election commission for completeness and accuracy. If the legal requirements are met, the nominations will be approved by the election commission for the 2025 election and will be published here by 22/04/2025, at the latest.

Requirements for a valid nominations

  1. Use of the form according to the templates in Annex 3 and 3a of the HSWO 2014.
  2. The name of the contesting group, optionally including a corresponding abbreviation.
  3. A list of candidates.
  4. Declarations of consent from the candidates.
  5. Designation of an authorised recipient, along with their contact details.
  6. A sufficient number of declarations of support from eligible voters (template in Annex 5) or the signature of at least one member of the mandate and the authorised recipient (template in Annex 5b).

Declarations of Support

Groups that already hold a mandate in the university representation are exempt from providing declarations of support. In such cases, it is sufficient for the contesting group to be supported by at least one of its members in the university representation and the authorised recipient. This can also be the same person if they serve as both a member of the mandate and the authorised recipient.

The above-mentioned templates from Annex 5 and 5b of the HSWO 2014 must be used for this purpose.

Candidatures

The deadline for submitting candidatures (Study Representation) begins on 25/03/2025, and ends on 17/04/2025. The submitted candidatures will be reviewed by the election commission for completeness and accuracy. If the legal requirements are met, the nominations and candidatures will be approved by the election commission for the 2025 election and will be published here by 29/04/2025, at the latest.

Requirements for a valid candidature

  1. Use of the form according to the template in Annex 6 of the HSWO 2014.
  2. For each candidate, the following information must be provided:
  • Surname and first name
  • Year of birth
  • Address
  • Name of the degree programme
  • Student ID number
  • E-mail address

Submission

Nominations and candidatures must be submitted to the chairman of the election commission either in person, by prior appointment, or by post to the following address:
