Abstract:

The manufacturing industry is a cornerstone of Europe’s economic, social, and environmental sustainability. The project focuses on applying Industrial Data Science methodologies to enhance manufacturing processes through data-driven decision-making, predictive analytics, and artificial intelligence. This initiative supports the broader goals of EIT Manufacturing by promoting sustainable production, improving operational efficiency, and fostering innovation in industrial settings. The project contributes to Europe's transformation into a competitive and sustainable manufacturing ecosystem by integrating cutting-edge AI and data science techniques.

Results:

  • Teaching about the development of advanced data analytics models for predictive maintenance.
  • Implementation of CRISP-DM methodology tailored for industrial applications on a real-life use case.
  • Improved decision-making through data visualization and AI-driven insights.
  • Establishment of a knowledge-sharing framework for industrial data science best practices.
