FAM: Vienna Congress on Mathematical Finance 2025

Dancing My and Omega

After two successful editions in 2016 and 2019 the third Vienna Congress on Mathematical Finance takes place in July 2025. It is again organised by the research unit FAM (Financial and Actuarial Mathematics) of TU Wien together with the scientific partners University of Vienna and WU Vienna.

New FWF Special research area (SFB) for PROBA

The Austrian Science fund (FWF) has approved the funding of the research network (SFB) "Discrete random structures: enumeration and scaling limits" with a budget of 4.3M Euros over 4 years. The network combines the probability and combinatorics groups at TU Wien, the University of Vienna and TU Graz. Two of the PIs (Fabio Toninelli, opens an external URL in a new window and Marcin Lis, opens an external URL in a new window) are members of the Probability group PROBA in our institute!
