Isolated strong optical magnetic pulse spectroscopy

Project mission statement

iStOMPS wants to establish a new form of optical spectroscopy based on magnetic dipole-magnetic field interactions, while suppressing the electric dipole-electric field interactions.

Consortium

iStOMPS is represented by three PIs:

Alessandra Bellissimo (since 01/2023 successor of Valentina Shumakova), Hongtao Hu – both at TU Wien – and Sebastian Mai, who is the coordinator (at Uni Vienna). The PhD candidates of the different subprojects complete the consortium.
