We at the Institute of Computer Technology see ourselves as a bridge between the fields of computer science and electrical engineering and thus make a significant contribution to the curriculum in electrical engineering and information technology.

Versatile, innovative and future-oriented

Our modern institute equipment enables us to offer a versatile and practice-oriented study routine, e.g. by working with several 3D printers, a vapor phase soldering oven, soldering stations and a circuit board printer. This also includes carrying out measurements at our fully equipped measuring stations and using synthesis and simulation software.

We are always working on many interesting projects and company collaborations, in which we involve our students as part of our research-led teaching. We offer a large number of project, Bachelor's and Master's theses and look forward to our students taking the initiative and proactively contributing their own ideas.
