Research profile

Emma Hadziabdic has been a student assistant at the Institute of Building and Industrial Construction at the Vienna University of Technology since October 2020 in the research area of integrated planning and industrial construction and is studying for a master's degree in civil engineering. Her main areas of focus are the development of automated calculation tools for life cycle assessments (LCA) and material building passports (MGP), based on BIM technologies. She is also working on the creation of databases that use these findings to derive predictions for circular and ecological construction in the future.

My aim is to advance the development and evaluation of automated and BIM based calculation tools to enable informed predictions and assumptions for sustainable building in the future. By continuously refining these tools and integrating the material building passport and life cycle analysis, a solid foundation is created that promotes resource-efficient, sustainable, and cost-effective building practices, while also contributing to the reduction of resource consumption and the environmental impact of buildings.
