CABLE CAR CONSTRUCTION - Barrier-free, unmanned cable car across the Danube

Task: Innovative preliminary design of a barrier-free, frequency-adjusted, fully automatic and unmanned two-lane passenger cable car across the Danube for pedestrians and cyclists in shuttle traffic between the two villages of Aggsbach-Dorf and Aggsbach-Markt to connect their infrastructure in harmony with the surrounding landscape, particularly with regard to compatibility in the cultural landscape in the sense of the World Heritage Convention. The interdisciplinary approach in teams with engineers and architects was in the foreground and was therefore also supervised intensively across faculties.
