The project team of the recently started HAF-ALP-TOUR research project took advantage of the spring-like temperatures to visit the Forerunner region of Montafon at the beginning of March. HAF-ALP-TOUR deals with the mobility problems in Austria's Alpine tourism regions. The focus is on hybrid and automated fleets (HAF), which are seen as the key to improving mobility in Alpine regions.

A special focus of the 3-day visit was the organisation of a use case workshop. Thanks to the expertise of the workshop participants in the fields of (tourism) economy, research and administration, specific use cases of HAF were developed. In addition, the project team explored the region, spoke with local stakeholders from the tourism industry and held internal workshops.
