The second consortium meeting of the MultiMoFusion research project took place on 10th December 2024. Representatives of the project partners Invenium, TU Graz, Wien 3420 aspern development AG, Catchment and TU Wien/MOVE met in aspern Seestadt to reflect on the progress made after a year of work on the research project and to plan the next steps.

The basic research work package has already been successfully completed. As part of the ongoing aspern Seestadt mobility panel, opens an external URL in a new window, movement data was recorded synchronously via the Way Collector app and mobile phone technology with the help of loaned devices. This data now forms the basis for the development of precise fusion models that intelligently merge different mobility data sources.

With the start of the second research year, further tasks now lie ahead:

  • Development and calibration of the fusion models
  • Start of the work package on data communication via storymaps
  • Elaboration of use cases for practical applications
