The program kicks off with the basic modules "Leadership & Organizational Behavior" and "Management & Technology Essentials", where you'll gain both economic and technical management knowledge. In the specialization modules of the Master Class from the Strategic Management & Technology Executive MBA program, you expand your skills in strategy development and implementation. We provide you with a deep theoretical, but also practice-oriented understanding of the technological, budgetary and strategic competencies of your organization. As a manager, you can incorporate the findings into your strategic and operational decisions and effectively implement entrepreneurial initiatives with the help of new and existing technologies.
During our six-day Caltech Deep Tech Expedition in February 2026, immerse yourself in the world of Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, and Quantum Computing.
The program culminates in a master's thesis, where you'll apply your accumulated knowledge to a specific topic of your choice. With continuous support until graduation, this final project not only demonstrates your expertise but also establishes you as an authority in your field, ready to tackle senior leadership roles in the technology sector.

The focus is on ensuring that strategic visions are translated into practical, actionable steps, with an emphasis on resource allocation, timeline management, and change management to ensure successful execution.

Enjoy lab tours, corporate visits, and interactive workshops on the Caltech campus in Pasadena, and discover how deep tech is redefining industries such as Systems Engineering and Supply Chain Management.
In your Master's thesis, you will work independently on a problem in a topic area of your own choice, in terms of content and using scientific methods. In most cases, this is a question with practical relevance to your own working environment.
Schedule
Our program is designed for working professionals and allows you to balance work, family and our MBA program. This allows you to work while developing new business skills, knowledge and competencies.
It runs over 18 months and includes 45 class days. The modules take place in block form mostly from Thursday - Saturday all day.
Didactics
All modules are divided into a preparation phase, the in-class time and a follow-up phase.
The individual preparation phase for a module includes pre-readings, preparation of case studies, preparation of presentations, essays, etc.
The classes use a wide variety of teaching and learning methods. These range from interactive case studies, simulations and calculations to classical presentations, but also include discussions, group dynamic exercises and reflections.
Modules take place in full-day blocks and usually last between 3-5 days.
The individual follow-up phase is intended to consolidate or apply what has been learned in class. Depending on the module, the follow-up phase may include writing assignments, case studies, reflections or exams.
