PIONEER TOMORROW: Insights Unplugged #94 with Lukas Rippitsch

Kaminabend

Building a successful startup isn’t just about having a groundbreaking idea—it’s about assembling the right team to bring that idea to life. Teams are the cornerstone of any venture, but they also present the greatest risk for failure. Misaligned roles, unclear responsibilities, and equity disagreements can derail even the most promising startups. Investors know this well—they don’t just back ideas; they invest in teams. Understanding how to build and maintain a strong team is crucial to navigating the startup world successfully.

About the talk

The success of a startup relies heavily on the strength of its founding team. Misaligned roles, unclear responsibilities, and equity disputes pose significant risks, often outweighing the initial idea. Investors understand this - they back teams, not just ideas. For academics and professionals, mastering team dynamics is crucial to fostering sustainable innovation and guiding startups toward long-term success.

Join us for an inspiring evening with Lukas Rippitsch, Group CEO of Improove Inc. and co-founder of HROS and Digitalisten GmbH, as he takes us on a journey through his entrepreneurial experiences.

Lukas will explore the critical elements of building and leading successful startup teams, from defining roles and responsibilities to mastering equity splits. With lessons drawn from mentoring over 80 startups, he will share how resilience, adaptability, and self-awareness are key to overcoming challenges and seizing opportunities in the dynamic world of entrepreneurship.

After the talk, take advantage of the networking session to connect with Lukas and fellow attendees while enjoying complimentary beverages.
