The universities in the Best Practice Club “Familie in der Hochschule, opens an external URL in a new window” see themselves as pioneers in the societal development toward greater family orientation and appreciation of diversity. By signing the charter, the participating institutions commit to the established standards for reconciling family responsibilities with studies, teaching, research, and science-supporting activities.

TU Wien was the first university in Vienna to sign the “Familie in der Hochschule, opens an external URL in a new window” charter in June 2015 and join the Best Practice Club.
