The Service Unit of Accountancy at TU Wien is a service provider catering to the accounting needs of all other units based at the university.

The main tasks undertaken by Accounting fall under the header of accounting in line with the Austrian Universities Act, Accounting Regulations and Commercial Code.
This Service Unit is also tasked with compiling quarterly reports and the end of year accounts.

Accounting is the main port of call for all organisational units with any questions on business processes and their financial management. The staff are on hand to offer advice on tax and finances.
