CEEPUS (Central European Exchange Program for University Studies) is an inter-university cooperation and mobility program in which the following countries participate:
Albania, Austria, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia and Slovenia.

General program features:

  • Mobility grants for teaching staff and students (= full scholarships from the host university) for stays of up to a maximum of 10 months
  • Mobility within the framework of university networks or as a free mover
  • Exemption from tuition fees
  • Recognition of academic achievements abroad
  • Courses at the host universities in German, English or French

Application requirements:

  • Citizenship of a CEEPUS country (or EU or EEA country)
  • Completion of at least 2 semesters at the home university in one of the CEEPUS countries
  • Duration of stay: maximum 10 months
  • Teaching staff: at least 6 teaching hours per 5 working days at the host institution
  • Before applying: Contact with CEEPUS coordinator absolutely necessary!

Information and application:

  • Mobility applications can only be submitted after consultation with the network coordinator or partner. Applications must be submitted online
  • Submission deadlines: 15 June for the winter semester, 31 October for the summer semester and 30 November for freemovers (only for the summer semester)
