1. Online application (pre-registration)

If you are new to TU Wien, please set up a guest account in TU Wien Informations-System "TISS", opens an external URL in a new window, choose your study and complete the pre-registration. In doing so, you will also have to register for the so-called application procedure ("Bewerbungsverfahren").

2. Application for admission: required documents

• If you have completed your Bachelor's degree at TU Wien, click here.
• If you have completed your Bachelor's degree at another Austrian or international university/university of applied sciences, click here. (Attention: special admission period for third-country nationals!)

3. Enrolment

If you have successfully completed the application procedure (step 1) and have received an admission letter (step 2), take the required documents with you and come to the Admissions Office in person during the admission period to enrol. If you have obtained your Bachelor's degree at TU Wien you do NOT have to come to the Admission Office again. Admission is carried out online.
