Arrival by plane

Vienna International Airport is only 22 km away and offers both domestic and international flights.
There are regular CAT trains from the airport to the Wien-Mitte train station. Alternatively, the S7 rapid transit train operated by ÖBB runs daily.
From Wien-Mitte, take the U4 subway line in the direction of Hütteldorf and get off at Karlsplatz station. From here you can easily reach our institute on foot (exit Karlsplatz).

Parking on the streets of Vienna

Most of Vienna's streets are fee-based short-stay parking zones. These are valid from Monday to Friday from 9 am to 10 pm. Parking tickets can be purchased at tobacconists, gas stations or cigarette machines.

Parking in the Freihaus building

There is an underground parking garage at Freihaus, which is operated by WIPARK, opens an external URL in a new window and is open around the clock. The entrance is located at Operngasse 13.
