Alexandra Saliger has been working as a project assistant in the Research Area of Mechanical Engineering Informatics and Virtual Product Development (MIVP) at the TU Wien since February 2021.

She studied mechanical engineering at the TU Wien with a focus on production, automation and laser technology and completed her studies with the diploma thesis "Laser welding of titanium and aluminum using a pulsed Nd: YAG laser".
From 2012 to 2020 she worked as a production technician at Doka in Amstetten.

She discovered her affection for technology while attending a high school with a focus on natural sciences.
