The new Master Programme "Chemical and Process Engineering for Sustainable Production" will start on the 1st of October 2022.

For students enrolled in the 'old' Master's programme in Process Engineering

  • Students can continue to study the "old" curriculum until the 1st of October 2026.
  • Student scan take courses from the "new" curriculum. The allocation in the "old" curriculum can be found in Table 2 in the "Übergangsbestimmungen".

In this case, the new compulsory module 'Technology assessment and sustainable process development' must also be completed.

The following applies to students enrolled in the Bachelor’s Programme Chemical and Process Engineering:

  • If the bachelor's degree is completed after 30th September 2022, enrolment in the master's programme 'Process Engineering and Sustainable Production' is only possible as a consecutive master's programme. You are still free to enrol in other Master's programmes such as Materials Science.
