Led by Lovro Koncar-Gamulin, a PhD student at the Visual Culture Group, the project aims to better understand and improve urban mobility. Funded by the European Commission through the IMPETUS program, it uses community knowledge and experiences to address urban mobility challenges.

From June 19 to 26, 2024, school classes participated in workshops at the Data Visualisation Space. At the beginning of the workshop, participants learned how to use the tagging software before collecting data on urban mobility. After a few hours, they reviewed the collected data on an interactive dashboard. This mobility dashboard combines the emotional and experiential knowledge of the participants with open data to provide real-time insights and solutions for urban mobility issues. It promotes more inclusive, citizen-centered urban planning.

The project invites the community to share their experiences and insights. Follow and support the Layered City project on Instagram , opens an external URL in a new windowand LinkedIn, opens an external URL in a new window.
