Working areas

Thematic focus

My main scientific field of work is materials for lithography-based additive manufacturing. Current focal points of my work are the production and characterization of photopolymers for additive manufacturing and the development of suitable, precise and high-resolution 3D printers for processing these photopolymers.

The aim is for the printed components to be as good as or better than conventionally manufactured components in terms of surface quality, precision and (thermo)mechanical properties. The current focus is on ceramics and polymer materials for biomedical technology.
