The first ENROL Summer Retreat took place at RelaxResort Kothmühle, Lower Austria from 03. to 07. July 2023. The PhD Fellows and Prinicipal Investigators of the ENROL DP as well as the esteemed members of the ENROL International Advisory Board (IAB) were given the opportunity to interact on a personal and professional level. The programme consisted of a full day workshop on "Academic Life Balance", a 2-day workshop on "Ethics and Responsibility; Introduction to responsible research practice" as well as 2 science days where the PhD Fellows presented their research with elevator pitches and a poster session and were also given the opportunity to attend scientific lectures from the IAB members.
