The ETR, opens an external URL in a new window (Eisenbahntechnische Rundschau) is a monthly trade journal for all areas of railway engineering. Four times a year (in the months 03/ 06/ 09/ 12) the Austrian special issue "ETR-Austria" is an integral part of the respective ETR issue. It is dedicated to all Austria-related topics, novelties, research and developments.

ETR-Austria is edited by the Research Unit of Track-bound Transportation Systems at the TU-Wien.

ETR-Austria contains current short news and reports as well as two to three technical articles from Austria.

Subject to capacity, it is possible to submit short reports or a technical article for publication at any time. In this respect, it is necessary to strictly adhere to the following requirements:

Submission deadlines:

Articles and short news items must be submitted to the ETR-Austria editorial office by Email by the deadlines listed below at the latest. The intended publication of short reports must be notified to the editorial office by Email at least 14 days before the submission deadline.

Format templates:

When creating contributions, it is necessary to adhere strictly to the following format templates. If the formal criteria are not met, the editors reserve the right to return the documents to the author(s) for appropriate improvement.

Submission:

The submission of technical articles or short reports is exclusively in electronic form via Email to the editorial office of ETR-Austria. In order for the submission to be considered accordingly, compliance with the above-mentioned deadlines and format templates is a mandatory requirement. You are requested to send all files belonging to the article in a ZIP file.
