Building acoustics

In the research focus of Building Acoustics, the transmission of sound in buildings is studied. The sound emitted by devices, people and animals can be perceived as annoying, disturbing, or even harmful. The goal of our research is to find methods to better predict the transmission of sound in constructions and buildings. Based on the findings, new construction methods can be developed to improve the acoustic world we all live in.
