Profile

Sladana Adamovic studied Cultural and Social Anthropology as well as Gender Studies at the University of Vienna. Since 2021, she has been involved in various research projects at the applied research institute Search and Shape and the decentralized research network Logische Phantasie Lab. Her work covers a wide range of topics, including migration, war, housing, urban development, and intersecting forms of discrimination such as sexism, racism, and homophobia, as well as climate-related challenges like environmental destruction, pollution, and extraction.

In addition to her academic work, she volunteers for civil society organizations dedicated to social justice.

Since 2024, Sladana has served as a project assistant for the EU research project EXIT: Exploring Sustainable Strategies to Counteract Territorial Inequalities from an Intersectional Approach.
