How can co-creation help to overcome current societal challenges through greater public participation in the development of social and technological innovations? How can co-creation contribute to ensure that all Europeans share the benefits of new social and technological innovations? What can politics do to promote and expand co-creation in Europe responsibly? To answer these questions, the SCALINGS-team, opens an external URL in a new window has summarized their research results from 3 years and 11 European countries in the newly published SCALINGS Policy Roadmap "Co-creating European Futures - Innovation, Participation and Co-creation in Europe 2030". Consisting of a policy part and a legal part, the roadmap offers a set of criteria and evaluation questions, which should enable the actors involved to design co-creation activities in such a way that they work in their specific environment.
