The first Move.Walk of the winter semester

Even though the temperatures are dropping, autumn is just around the corner and the weather is increasingly inconsistent, we are still exploring different corners of Vienna with our students this semester. The focus of the first session was cycle traffic planning. We invited Julius Holländerfrom the Mobility Agency as an expert. 

In keeping with the theme, we all got on our bikes and started the route in front of the main building of TU Wien. From the meeting point at Karlsplatz, we cycled along the Ring to the Urania. The next stop was at Praterstern. The route then took us over the Reichsbrücke bridge to the Donauzentrum (main cycle route north). Cycling along the route opened up discussion points for all those present - in particular the current projects in Vienna's cycle network such as the cycle highway were discussed.
