For us, the main focus of the meeting was to gather information from partners in order to further develop the Suitability Framework. Interviews were therefore conducted with the robot manufacturers in order to adapt the driveability layer to the requirements of the robot. In this way, questions regarding the minimum width for navigating a pavement, the orientability of a robot and how the environment is perceived by a robot can be answered. Ultimately, the suitability framework can be used to make statements about the road compatibility of automated delivery vehicles.

The TRACE platform is developing into a holistic framework that connects logistics companies and improves collaboration and efficiency in the supply chain. This meeting emphasised the commitment to providing an innovative, integrated solution.
