On 8 April 2025, a workshop on ‘Climate Change and Natural Risks’ took place in Škofja Loka, Slovenia, which was also the Alpine Convention Day 2025. As part of this event, Barbara Steinbrunner, opens an external URL in a new window was invited to give a presentation entitled ‘How to Make Use of the “Window of Opportunity”’.  In addition to presentations by Slovenian colleagues, there were also talks by Katharina Zwettler (BMLUK), Rainer Leitner (KLAR! manager Bucklige Welt-Wechselland), Hannes Thonhauser (Carinthian provincial government) and Wolfgang Lexer (Federal Environment Agency)
