ASIIN Accreditation

The , opens an external URL in a new window ASIIN ("Accreditation Agency Specialized in Accrediting Degree Programs in Engineering, Informatics, the Natural Sciences and Mathematics"), opens an external URL in a new window is one of the most important quality assurance institutions for technical and scientific study programs in the German-speaking countries.

The seal of quality of the ASIIN is awarded to educational programs that are particularly worthy of being singled out due to their quality, as well as the sustainable and innovative nature of their content. For this reason, in assessing the quality of a course, consideration is given not merely to the logic and efficiency of the qualification process itself, but also to the success of its alumni.

In 2016, the postgraduate program MSc Renewable Energy Systems was successfully re-accredited and received the ASIIN seal of quality again for seven years.
