From basic to specialization

In the basic modules "Leadership & Organizational Behavior" and "Management & Technology Essentials" you will receive economic and technical management knowledge and raise your personal leadership skills to a new level.

In the "Masterclass" basic module, you expand and renew your specialist technical knowledge and are informed about the latest trends and developments in space architecture. Here you will be taught by the Academic Director and international experts with who you will develop an excellent industry network. Following this you can deepen your knowledge of the industry on an exciting 6-day study trip.

At the end of the program you will be asked to devote yourself to a specific topic in the form of your written master's thesis. You will of course be continuously supervised until you graduate.

Curriculum

Develop and strengthen your role of manager by mastering the three value chains 'EEE':

The Space Architecture Learning Journey Houst will provide you with in-depth knowledge and practical experience in space habitat design, human factors, sustainability, and emerging technologies, among other topics. You will learn from a diverse range of top experts, from TU Wien and Sasakawa International Center for Space Architecture (SICSA), University of Houston, Cullen College of Engineering, as well as industry professionals, researchers, and policymakers.The course takes place on-site in Houston, Texas, at SICSA's state-of-the-art facilities. You will have direct access to top experts and lecturers in the field, and will participate in site visits to nearby facilities such as the Lunar Planetary Institute and the Space Center Houston. In your Master's thesis, you will work independently on a problem in a topic area of your own choice, in terms of content and using scientific methods. In most cases, this is a question with practical relevance to your own working environment. The Master Thesis will be supported by the faculty members. There will also be a possibility to work in close cooperation with selected industry.
