On January 30, 2025, the time had finally come again: the TU Wien Ball took place in the ceremonial rooms of the Vienna Hofburg. The ceremonial opening was celebrated by the TU Orchestra and the TU Choir. The opening speech was given by Rector Jens Schneider together with HTU Chairwoman Pia Graves. The opening ceremony was once again designed with great attention to detail and the Young Ladies' and Young Men's Committee impressed with their elaborate choreography.

The music program in the various state rooms of the Hofburg ranged from classical waltz music and big band sounds to New Orleans jazz and Latin American rhythms. The ACE Lounge in the second Radetzky Apartment was also a great place to dance to jazz music. Our students and alumni also enjoyed the many stimulating conversations over a free glass of sparkling wine.

It was great to see elegantly dressed students, researchers and other guests from Germany and abroad enjoying an evening of pure joie de vivre. We are already looking forward to next year, when it's “Alles Walzer!” again! Make a note of the date for the next TU Ball on Thursday, January 29, 2026.
