Our team just has just returned from the River Basins 2024 conference in Budapest.
A few highlights:

• It was great to see the growing community of researchers and technical experts working on the complex issue of nutrients and trace contaminants pollution at the river basin scale AND focused on bridging the gap between science and policy
•  The generous time allocated to oral presentations allowed for a more in-depth exchange and discussion than at most other scientific conferences in our field
•  The hosts from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics did a fantastic job in organising the whole conference and especially a fantastic gala dinner with a sunset cruise on the Danube.
