Our heartfelt congratulations to our dear former colleague Arabel Long (Amann) on successfully defending her PhD thesis "Multi-objective analysis of nutrient use and recycling under consideration of economic and regional structures"!
Her work is an examplarily combination of scientific excellence (5 peer-reviewed papers!) and practical relevance (it influenced and formed a basis for national legislation on phosphorus recycling from wastewater). So the coordination of Vienna's large-scale and ambitious P-recycling could not be in better hands!

The thesis was mainly supervised by Prof. Matthias Zessner with the support of Prof. Helmut Rechberger as co-supervisor. We would like to thank Prof. Johann Fellner for his role as examiner and Prof. Johannes Pinnekamp for his role as reviewer of the thesis.
