Thrilled to announce the start of our new project on the potential of river bank filtration for water supply in Austria (“Ufer-Los”) together with our partner Umweltbundesamt - Environment Agency Austria.
It is one of the projects funded under the Austrian Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Regions and Water Management's (Bundesministerium für Land- und Forstwirtschaft, Regionen und Wasserwirtschaft) call for proposals on "Long-term security of drinking water supply".
On the one side we aim to estimate the quantitative potential of river bank filtration along large Austrian rivers. On the other side we will check out the technological potential of a multibarrier treatment train - fit to tackle future challenges.
