Univ.-Prof. DI Dr. Marko Mihovilovic has been appointed as Dean on 01.01.2020.

After graduation and receiving his PhD on the TU Wien, Prof. Mihovilovic stayed as a postdoctoral Erwin Schrödinger Fellow in Canada (University of New Brunswick) and in Florida (University of Florida). In 2003 he sucessfully completed the habiliation procedure (venia docendi) in „Bioorganische Chemie (Bioorganic Chemistry) “. In 2003, he was appointed as Institute director at the Institute of Applied Synthetic Chemistry; in 2004, he was appointed Associate Professor. Since 2014, he is full Professor for Bioorganic Synthetic Chemistry.
