Strengthening strengths, reducing excessive demands: Resilience against mental stress.

Information Event

Online lecture on the topic of mental stress and depression in everyday student life

Mental illnesses do not stop at universities and are often widespread among students in particular due to time and performance pressure, fears about the future and financial worries. Despite the increase in media coverage, there is still ignorance or prejudice when it comes to dealing with mental illness.

We want to consciously counteract this with this online event and cordially invite interested and affected students to find out more about the topic.  After a theoretical input with interactive participation by Nadja Springer, there will be an opportunity to ask her and the disability representatives (TU Wien and BOKU) and the psychologist at TU Wien questions.

Speakers/Participants:

Nadja Springer - clinical psychologist - individual counseling

Nicole Kretschy - Disability Officer, Student Support TU Vienna

Lisa Vrablicz - clinical psychologist, Student Support TU Vienna

Ruth Scheiber-Herzog - Disability Officer BOKU

Raphaela Nistler - Coordination Office for Equality, Diversity and Disability

This event is a cooperation between TU Wien and BOKU.
