Noreia is a name with two historical meanings having its origin in the former celtic kingdom „Noricum“. On the one hand it is the name of its ancient lost capital city as well as the name of a pre-roman mother goddess. The detailed location of the city Noreia has not been verified but it is believed that it was located in the southern region of Styria or northern of Carinthia in Austria.

The mother goddess Noreia was the patroness of the kingdom „Noricum“ which is today’s national territory of Austria. She was also the goddess of iron ore. Due to this historical aspects we decided to chose Noreia as the name for our new multifunctional deposition system.
