On May 10, 2023, the Open House Day took place at the IFT - Institute for Manufacturing Technology and Photonic Technologies, and it was a resounding success. Over 100 guests visited our facility, including project partners, alumni, and students. The event provided a wealth of activities and insights into our work.

The guests were warmly welcomed in our laboratory and had the opportunity to participate in exclusive guided tours. Our dedicated staff led them through various areas and presented innovative projects and technologies in the fields of manufacturing technology and photonic technologies. Particularly noteworthy was the Industry 0.0 workshop, where participants had the opportunity to forge a nail themselves. In a lively and convivial atmosphere in front of our mobile sausage stand (thanks to Mr. Alfred Bogenstorfer's team), guests could exchange ideas and establish new contacts.

At this juncture, we would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the guests who made our Open House Day an unforgettable event. A special thanks goes to our project partners who provide continuous support and contribute to the successful implementation of our research projects. We would also like to thank our alumni who shared their experiences and successes with us. Their career paths are evidence of the high quality of our education. Another thank you goes to the students who enriched our event. Your interest and enthusiasm for manufacturing technology and photonic technologies are inspiring and fill us with confidence for the future.

We hope that all guests had an informative and enjoyable day with us. If there are any remaining questions or further information is needed, we are, of course, more than happy to assist.
