Join us and participate in “Vienna cycles” between 20 March and 30 September 2025!

TU Wien Bibliothek invites you to participate in this year’s “Wien radelt” (Vienna cycles) campaign and join us in collecting environmentally friendly bicycle and foot kilometres!

The library cordially invites you to join our team at the “Wien radelt” (Vienna cycles) campaign from 20 March to 30 September 2025! Let’s contribute to sustainability by cycling and walking. In the past years, we achieved good results:

In 2022, our team covered 6460.30 km by bicycle and on foot and saved 1139.60 kg of CO₂ emissions.

In 2023, we were able to increase the CO₂ savings to 3296.93 kg, with a team of 31 library staff members and students of TU Wien covering a total of 18,690.10 km.

In 2024, we improved our total again to 36.670 km covered by 62 participants by bicycle and on foot, generating 6.469 kg of CO₂ savings.
